My science topic is.................. Down Syndrome! I chose this topic becuase it is really close to my heart and i and i am very dedicated to it. Did you know that people with Down Syndrome have decreased muscle tone at birth??? Keep you updated with cool new facts!

Today instead of collecting information my class and i did a virtual knee surgery. And let me tell you it was DISCUSTING! Ewww! i cant even imagine doing something like that for really! AHHHHH

Our assignment for today is to state a problem that goes with our study and make it into a question, make a hypothesis, and test it. My question is: What is the best method for helping a child with down syndrome achieve successful socialization with other children?

Today my goal is to find an expert in my study of down syndrome and contact them in hopes they will be willing to answer some of my questions and send me some information that will help me with my project.

Im still looking for an expert of down syndrome to contact. Today im also going to find more resources and work on my bibliography.
I have a cool idea for my project im going to do some tests with an average 6 year old and my 6 year old neighbor with down syndrome. These tests will be physical and mental, for example how long it takes both children to run from one point to another, how high they can count. Im really excited to see what the ending result will be!

Today i am going to make a rubric, a glossary, and a bibliography. This weekend i am planning on doing the experiments with my neighbor and i will find time during the week to do the experiments with a kindergartener that i work with. Since our project is due on Thursday i need to start woking on my physical project bu that is the easy part.

Yeah! Almost done! I am now working on my final physical project and finishing up my experiments. I have already tested my 6 year old neighbor with Down syndrome and will test an average 6 year old girl with the same tests on Monday. After that i will finish up my physical project and i will be ready for the sciene fair on Thursday!

I only have two more things to do on my project make my glossary and glue my 2nd experiment on my board. Im really proud of how my project turned out at the beggining of the quater i would have never guessed i would have been able to finish all of this and make it look presentable! LOL

Finally! I have completed my whole project! Unfortunatley, this is my last post on my science page. :( i hope everyone enjoys my project, because i worked really really hard and long on it. :) BYE!
